in virgin. fill lebeau, what does it mean for both? >> for both? delta, more business over to the uk, lucrative business. we'll talk to the ceo of delta in a few minutes. rick santelli tracking the action at the c mulch e. what was it like today? >> it wasn't bad. we're going to give this auction a hook, an absolutely dead smack in the middle of the curve c. there's some strange inputs in this auction. $32 million yields a .327, which is exactly in the middle bitten off on wi. so pricing is fine. if you look at internals, a bid to cover -- to find a lower bid to cover they have to go back to february. if you look at direct bidding at 24.8, that is a record. that's almost twice 13%. if you look at indirect bids it's almost exactly the opposite. 22.9 well below 32% auction average and lowest since may of '07. we walk away thinking not so great. now that yield i mentioned, .327 is a record all-time low yield for the threes. after i sypher all that we come up with an average and look forward to $21 billion, ten years, early auction because of the fed decision. back to you, tyler. >> rick

it with greece and the fiscal compact and the uk v vetoing the agreements. you can put it back together again. but there's an enormous amount of damage, a lack of credibility and a feeling of lack of investor confidence that's taken place during that process. and to your very point, let's look at this for a second. we have the fiscal cliff. you then have the debt ceiling. don't forget the debt ceiling. then you go back to the middle of 2013. by the time you get to it, you're back to a budget impass once again. so you're right, it's perpetual cliffs and falls and slowdowns. >> that just is not very heartening, my friend. so why is the u.s. stock market having one of the best years, one of the ten best years ever? >> that's an easy one. firstly, very low. 2008, look at the graph. and it's gone like that all the way down and it's come back up again and equities remain cheap. bonds weren't doing that much. it was a perfect opportunity to take advantage of certain special situations. but don't be fooled. there's an element of scotch missed about this. the first whiff of really nasty problems, you'

in the uk, multiple sources say she took her own life and was found on the hospital premises this morning. they tried to revive her but unsuccessfully. the hospital interestingly said that they have been supporting her through this difficult time and telling us that she was having a tough time. we don't know exactly why or what else was going on in this woman's life. but it appears that she did commit suicide on the grounds of the hospital. anyone else who worked with her but people described as stunned, that the news is staggering. one of the things that this prank phone call really highlighted, aside from the fact that it was a breach of security, was the kindness and unsuspecting nature of both of the nurses who took the phone call. this nurse in question today was the one who originally took the call and then transferred it to the duchess of cambridge's ward. the hospital even said, you know what, these nurses are trained to care for patients, not trained to deal with journalistic trickery. >> michelle, thank you. >>> talk about a major flip-flop from the senate majority. mitch mcconn
